How to Use ROUNDDOWN in Excel:

1. Click on the cell where you want your rounded number to appear.
2. Type =ROUNDDOWN(.

4. Type a comma , and specify the number of decimal places you want.
   • Use 0 to round down to the nearest whole number.
   • Use a positive number to keep a certain number of decimal places.
5. Close the parenthesis ) and press Enter.

Example: If you use =ROUNDDOWN(15.89, 1), Excel will give you 15.8. Even though 15.89 is close to 15.9, ROUNDDOWN forces it lower.
